About Workshop

Client Counselling refers to the process of providing guidance and support to clients who seek help to resolve personal or emotional problems. The goal of counselling is to help clients gain insight into their problems, identify and develop coping strategies, and ultimately achieve their personal goals.

Client Counselling competitions are events in which counselling students or professionals compete against each other to demonstrate their skills and expertise in providing effective counselling to clients. These competitions are typically structured to simulate real-world counselling scenarios, in which participants are given a hypothetical case study or scenario and asked to provide counselling to a "client" (usually an actor playing the role of the client).

Workshops can provide valuable support for counselling students and professionals who participate in client counselling competitions. Workshops can help participants develop and enhance specific counselling skills and techniques, receive feedback and evaluation from experienced professionals, network and collaborate with others in the field, and earn continuing education credits. These benefits can ultimately help participants feel more confident and prepared for client counselling competitions, enhance their overall counselling skills, and promote excellence in the field of counseling.

Eligibility

Students of 3/5 year LL.B. degree courses from any institution recognized by B.C.I. and LL.M. students (not enrolled as advocates) are eligible to participate.

Legal Practitioners, Professors can also register.
